You may not necessarily think of the Emergency Stop button as being something crucial to the operation of your bread dough slicer. If you read the manual for certain models, you will discover that this is a very important component.
For example, if you look at the manual for the JAC-Machine’s DIV/DIV-R bread dough slicer, you will discover that the Emergency Stop button is to be activated weekly as part of the maintenance schedule. The button is pressed and the side doors on the machine are removed with a screwdriver. Afterward, the inside of the unit is to be cleaned using a vacuum cleaner before replacing the side doors. The Emergency Stop button is also checked at the bi-monthly check (performed by an approved agent).
